Dads & carers of children with disabilities - sharing the journey, the laughs & the real talk

More Than Just a Chat – Real Activities, Real Connection

We believe men connect best when they're doing something together. That's why Dads Behaving Madly isn't just a support group – it's an active community. From wood-fired saunas on the beach to archery, podcasting to padel tennis, we offer a range of activities designed to help dads relax, recharge, and build genuine friendships.

Activity Categories

Monthly Meet-Ups

Our flagship monthly breakfast at The Delmont Hotel brings dads together in a relaxed, informal setting. No agenda, no pressure – just good food, honest conversation, and the chance to connect with others who get it. We also run regular coffee mornings and evening meals out.

Wellness Activities

Wood-fired sauna and sea dip sessions on the beach, yoga classes, sound baths, and foraging walks. These activities are about giving dads space to breathe, reset, and look after their own wellbeing – something that often falls by the wayside when caring for others.

Sports & Active Sessions

Football matches, padel tennis, squash, archery, surfing, and beach activities. Exercise is proven to support mental health, and doing it alongside other dads creates bonds that last beyond the activity itself.

Creative Workshops

Macramé sessions, craft workshops, and other hands-on creative activities. You'd be surprised how therapeutic it can be to make something with your hands while chatting with people who understand your life.

Family Events

Beach days, summer games, our annual Dads Fest celebration, and family-friendly gatherings where partners and children are welcome. These events recognise that while dads need their own space, family connection matters too.

The Dads Behaving Madly Podcast
